UDEM Inc. Hosts Delegation from the Medical Device Authority of the Malaysian Ministry of Health

UDEM A.Ş. hosted the Medical Device Authority (MDA) Malaysia and an accompanying high-level delegation at its office, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between Türkiye and Malaysia in the fields of medical device regulations and conformity assessment.

As part of the official visit, the parties exchanged views on ongoing work within the scope of medical device product assessment and conformity assessment activities, and discussed opportunities to further strengthen regulatory alignment between the two countries.

During the meeting, a commemorative plaque was presented to Serian Doma, Medical Device Department Coordinator, on behalf of our company. In return, on behalf of UDEM A.Ş., the Malaysian delegation was presented with a handcrafted traditional ceramic tile artwork as a symbol of corporate friendship and cultural exchange. The visit was regarded as the beginning of a new era in commercial and regulatory cooperation in the medical device sector between the two countries.

UDEM A.Ş. expects that its activities carried out as an MDR-designated Notified Body (NB 2292), together with such engagements with international regulatory authorities, will contribute to strengthening trust, transparency, and technical harmonization across the global medical device ecosystem.
